Dr. Angela Weatherall is a board-certified Dermatologist. She received her bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Florida and her medical degree with academic and research honors from the University of Florida College of Medicine. While in medical school, she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, a prestigious medical honor society. She then did her internship in internal medicine and completed dermatology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center and the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, which is one of the top cancer centers in the nation.
During her residency, she served as Chief Dermatology Resident where she was actively involved in teaching both medical students and residents. She practices adult and pediatric dermatology and sees patients of every age.
Dr. Weatherall is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the Florida Society for Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. She has co-authored several journal articles and edited a book chapter on dermatologic medications.
She is currently on staff at Boca Raton Regional Hospital as a consultant dermatologist. Dr Weatherall is on faculty at Florida Atlantic University as an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Clinical Biomedical Science in the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine and is involved in the dermatology education of medical students.
Dr. Weatherall grew up locally in South Florida and returned in 2011 after spending 3 years in private practice in New York City. When not with her patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Justin, an orthopedic surgeon, and their two young daughters.
